About: Adina Lebowitz, MA is a family mediator and parenting coach. Her primary goal is to help families find less stress and more peace in their co-parenting. She supports parents as they are adjusting to a new separation or divorce, and continues to support them as co-parents whether they are facing day to day parenting challenges, or dealing with the impacts of stress on their lives. She is available to mediate bigger issues that impact their parenting plans like a move, job change, new relationship, or a child's health challenge. She is one of the contributing authors to the 2024 international best-selling book Building Bridges of Hope: Overcoming Trauma in Family Law Cases.
Services: “As a family mediator I work with parents to create their parenting plan or update their plan if they are experiencing post-divorce parenting issues. In addition, I offer monthly co-parenting workshops on communication and conflict resolution skills for people who are newly separating or those looking for a refresher so they can have less stress and more peace in their co-parenting. I also work as a parenting coach with families in high conflict who are experiencing resist/refuse dynamics in their co-parenting. Through a world-wide program called REVIVE we are successfully rebuilding relationships between parents and their teens and young adults.”
Adina’s Why: “I went through a high conflict divorce. At the time of my divorce I had a job with frequent business travel. That provided lots of challenges to maintaining our 50/50 parenting time schedule and landed us in a long and expensive court battle. My goal is to support parents in choosing a different path – working cooperatively to co-parent so their children can thrive.”
