About:Nancy Gabriel is the owner of Mediation Around The Table, LLC., a Las Vegas-based private mediation company. Nancy was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was raised in Los Angeles, California. She gained professional experience as a Certified Legal Administrator and Litigation Paralegal before relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada to be closer to her aging parents. In 2010, Nancy began training to become a professional Mediator and in early 2012, completed the prestigious Mosten Divorce Mediation Training course in Los Angeles, California. Mediation is a natural fit for Nancy, as it combines her extensive litigation background with her calm and non-judgmental personality. She is both approachable and extremely capable in facilitating conversations between parties in conflict in order to guide them through a successful mediation process. Nancy also serves on the Nevada State Bar Association’s Fee Dispute Mediation Panel, and is the adult facilitator at Adam’s Place, a non-profit grief center for families who have experienced loss. She is a graduate of UCLA, an avid gourmet cook, and a boisterous NFL fan (for whichever team is winning).
Services: “I help with the financial issues (division of assets/debts and spousal support) as well as the parenting issues (child custody, visitation and support).”
Nancy’s Why: “I am most passionate in helping divorcing couples with children. Although I am neutral as to the husband and wife, their children do not have a voice in this process, so I am their advocate. I want to make sure their needs are met in a way that allows for flexibility. Although the husband and wife are no longer a couple, I want them to understand that they'll always be a family.”
